GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • We are located at 231 Eldridge Street, New York, NY 10002 on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, a short walk from the Delancey/Essex subway stop (F/J/M/Z lines).

  • Our hours are:​

    • Monday – Thursday: 12 pm – 8 pm​

    • Friday – Sunday: 12 pm – 11 pm​

    Please note that walk-in hours end 30 minutes before closing.​

  • We accept walk-ins daily on a first come, first served basis for tattoos, piercings, and tooth gems.

    Appointments are recommended for larger tattoos or multiple piercings.

  • We’re a 2-minute walk from the Delancey/Essex St. station (F, J, M, Z trains) and about 5 minutes from Grand St. (B, D). Street parking in the Lower East Side is limited; if you’re driving, the closest 24-hour garage is on Essex St. between Rivington and Stanton.

  • We are a cash only shop! There is an ATM onsite for your convenience or a Chase and Bank of America within walking distance.

    We take card payment only for online booking deposits for your convenience.

  • Yes, Cherry Bomb Studio is queer and femme owned. We prioritize inclusivity, respect, and safety for all bodies and identities.

TATTOO SERVICES

  • Our shop minimum for tattoos is $100.​

  • The process includes:​

    1. Consultation: Discuss your ideas with our artists to bring your vision to life.​

    2. Design: Our artists create a custom design based on your input.​

    3. Tattoo Session: Once the design is finalized, we'll proceed with the tattooing.

  • Yes, we accept walk-ins daily.​

  • Our artists specialize in various styles, including:​

    • Nostalgic, surreal, black & grey​

    • Neotraditional with vibrant colors​

    • Floral, fineline, illustrative, script​

    • Blackwork, traditional, experimental​

    • Cute, sexy, feminine designs

  • Eat a full meal, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and wear comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being tattooed.

  • Absolutely! Bring your ideas, inspiration, or reference photos and our artists can adapt them to fit your style and placement.

  • Both! We have rotating flash designs available in-studio, and we love creating custom tattoos based on your ideas

  • Pricing depends on size, placement, and artist. Walk-in flash pieces start around $100. Larger custom work is quoted during consultation.

PIERCING SERVICES

  • We offer a variety of piercings. Please check here for specific options.

  • Prices vary depending on the type of piercing and jewelry selected. Please check here for specific pricing.​

  • Yes, every piercing is performed with sterile, single use needles and implant grade jewelry. All tools are autoclaved and safety checked.

  • For safety and sterilization reasons, we only pierce with jewelry purchased in studio. You’re welcome to bring your own for insertion once healed.

  • Most piercings can be changed after 6–12 weeks, depending on healing. We offer free downsizing and jewelry swaps once you’re cleared by your piercer.

TOOTH GEM SERVICES

  • No, applying tooth gems over veneers isn't possible due to the nature of the veneers themselves. However, we can apply gems to natural teeth.

  • We guarantee 3 months here at Cherry Bomb, but tooth gems typically last 6 months to 2 years, depending on placement and care.

  • Yes, we use dental-grade adhesive that does not damage enamel and can be safely removed by a professional.

  • You can eat normally after about an hour. Just try to avoid really sticky or crunchy foods hitting the gems so they stay secure and last longer.

  • Definitely. We have crystals, gold charms, and custom shapes available in-studio, or we can special-order pieces for you.

AFTERCARE & SAFETY

  • You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions after your service. In short: keep it clean, avoid touching, and don’t submerge it in water until healed.

  • We recommend sterile saline spray for piercings and fragrance free lotion or balm for tattoos. Our artists can suggest trusted brands.

  • Swelling and redness are normal early on, but if you experience prolonged pain or unusual discharge, reach out to us or your doctor immediately.

BOOKING AND POLICIES

  • You can book an appointment through our website or contact us directly. For same-day or next-day services, walk-ins are welcome without an appointment.​

  • Deposits are non refundable but transferable with at least 48 hours’ notice. No shows forfeit deposits.

  • We’re a cash-only studio for all in-person payments (tattoos, piercings, tooth gems), but there’s an ATM on site—and we can accept digital deposits in advance to secure an appointment.

  • Use our online booking form!

  • Yes! Gift cards are available online and in-studio and can be used for tattoos, piercings, and jewelry.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Our store has one step up to enter, but we have a portable wheelchair ramp available. However, our restroom isn't wheelchair accessible.

  • We do! We offer private rooms for piercing, quiet appointments, and clear communication before and during your session, just let us know your needs.
